Phire CMS : Open Source Content Management System
Documentation : Playing with Phire : Extensions
In this section, we'll outline how to access and manage everything under the Extensions navigation tab.
Extensions > Themes
Under themes, you'll see the default theme that's already installed. You can click the "Download Themes" link to view a list of themes that are available for download from the main Phire website. Or, you can build your own themes and drop their ZIP files into the themes folder (/phire-content/extensions/themes by default.) Once you either download a new theme or drop one of your own into the themes folder, you'll be prompted to "Click here to install" (which will be next to the "Download Themes" link.)
Once installed, the theme templates will be available under Content > Templates for you to assign to pages. If you make any revisions to the template files of a theme, you can re-import them with the "Re-Import" link next to the theme.
Extensions > Plugins
Under plugins, you can click the "Download Plugins" link to view a list of plugins that are available for download from the main Phire website. Or, you can build your own plugins and drop their ZIP files into the plugins folder (/phire-content/extensions/plugins by default.) Once you either download a new plugin or drop one of your own into the plugins folder, you'll be prompted to "Click here to install" (which will be next to the "Download Plugins" link.)
Once installed, the plugin should be ready to be used. The name of the plugin should be a highlighted link for you to click on to start using the plugin.
